ignition waveforms was created by Eagletech

I just think that this is interesting: I read an article about ignition waveform and there is something that may be useful for troubleshooting and is the fact that in order for the energy of the coil to jump the spark plug gap, the energy build a plasma that is use as a bridge and is something that you can actually see on the waveform as the oscillation right after the big spike (collapse of the magnetic field ). We can identify a gap problem or even an open wire because the energy of the coil will need higher then normal voltage in order to build the plasma (bridge)

Please comment thanks
