Having had 3 weeks when the minor irritations of life seem to hit all at once it was nice to have something solved quickly using the internet.
Last night our central heating stopped working no fault showing on our nearly new boiler just no heat, phoned the utility company who have the maintenance contract after 1/2 hour on the phone got through I am still waiting for the call back. I checked on the roomstat was working with a multimeter it was Okay so I went on the internet. I quickly discover the problem is likely the 3 port valve. I watched a youtube video on how to fix it. 10 minutes later heating is back on with a temporary fix. I ordered the part off Amazon at 10PM it arrived at 10AM fitted and test --- Ruth my wife is once again a happy bunny.
