Vision experience was created by bruce.oliver
This was my first year going to Vision and it was awesome. I should have starting going sooner. If you are in the business you need to figure out a way to go next year, you won't be disappointed. For the most part anyway.
I took a management class all day on Thursday, The Art of Profitability, with Cecil Bullard. Great class, made me want to fly back that night and find a shop to buy. Friday was a Module programming class with Eric Ziegler and Scott Shotton. Great class and great instructors. There were a couple guys in the class asking extremely basic or irrelevant questions that got us a little off track a couple times. Friday morning was Techniques for capturing electrical glitches and intermittent problems, with Gary Smith. This class was disappointing, the title and description suggested it was atleast somewhat of an advanced class but we spent the vast majority of the time on basic electrical. Saturday afternoon class was a GDI class with Gary Smith. Awesome class, learned a lot about GDI that I didn't know. And the Sunday morning class was Turbocharger diagnostics with John Thornton. Another fantastic class, highly recommended. Thursday night dinner and Jack Stack BBQ, great food. Saturday night dinner with the AESWave crew at an Italian restaurant. Great time.
So did you go to Vision?
Anyone here going to ATE?

No, but I want to start going to this type of stuff. What's the turn out at an event like that?

I think Vision had around 3500 attendees. ATE I think is around 650. Super Saturday in Philly, just a single day event, was less. Maybe 300, not sure
