Hi everyone. I got asked to help build an adapter to couple a BMW i3 electric motor to a dyno (another electric motor in this case). The i3's electric motor is designed to me mounted to a transaxle and accept the splined transmission input shaft. The issue, well one of them, is that I have not been able to find the specifications of the spinel used. I wondered if maybe one of you had seen one and knew it was the same spline as used on another vehicle. Due to time constraints if we could get a salvage transmission with the same input shaft it might be easier to just modify that shaft for our purposes.
