Tig welder was created by Chad
My brother-in-law has a trucking company. He hauls grain. His grain hauling trailers are aluminum. He said that he spends hundreds of dollars a year on various welding repairs. He has offered to buy me a tig welder if I am willing to learn how to tig-weld. Well, that's a no-brainer.

So my question is this. Can anyone guide me in choosing a welder? I have zero experience tig welding and want to make sure that I choose a welder that will suit my needs.

"Knowledge is a weapon. Arm yourself, well, before going to do battle."
"Understanding a question is half an answer."

I have learned more by being wrong, than I have by being right. :-)

He seems to be a real world welder. Good advice.
