Here's an oil filter wrench I made from a spark plug socket and a section of a Honda timing chain. Works great!

I was using it yesterday on the handle of the bench vise in the shop to press a broken bolt out of a control arm bushing

This is a syringe with the bristles of a brush glued to the end with epoxy. Need more grease? Push the plunger. It stays clean and honestly, I waste a lot less of the grease. I've got a couple of these with different substances in them.

I've posted this before, but one of my favorite home made tools is an aluminum baseball bat with the top cut off.
Yep, I still have mine. Parts guys and shop visitors always comment on it. :lol:

. I have one of those, but I made mine by running a 19mm lug nut onto the 17mm VW lug stud and welded them togetherEricGoodrich wrote: The first time I took a Volkswagen axle out I discovered this...

Still have it to this day. Never needed to buy one.
It's quicker to make a new one than it is to find the one I already made.
