I want to buy a quality set of back probe test leads.  Pico 1000v catII are $40 a piece! On ebay, there are some Fluke 600v 1 amp back probe leads.  But fuel injector wave forms show a 4 amp spike(peak and hold).  What is the best way to go for back probe leads?

Remember, your back probe isn't going to carry any current when you are taking voltage measurements.
The only time the current rating would come into play would be if you were using the probe on the end of a jumper wire (in series) trying to power or ground a component. There's other tools and break out leads for that.

These are my favorites, but they are certainly not the only option.

Oscilloscopes have a 1 million input resistance the conductor really only carries voltage just watch in case you form a ground loop dead short between channels
