Strange Current waveform? was created by timothy.spencer
Hi, Can anyone tell me what this strange fuel injector current waveform means? I tested all 8 injectors on a 1996 Mercury Grand Marquis and 6 of them looked normal, but injector #'s 5 and 6 looked like this.
Thanks
Thanks

My guess is ignition noise.

Thanks. That could be, these are the two fuel injectors that are closest to the ignition coil on that bank. I was able to get a normal current reading on the two fuel injectors closest to be ignition coil on the other bank. The car has an intermittent misfire that I am trying to track down.
