Just recently purchased a Hantek 1008C scope (8 channel). Can anyone suggest any resource where I can use to learn to use this scope?

First of all check you have the latest Hantek 1008 windows software --- if your software has the blue and yellow knobs on the right of the screen it is the old style which is a PITA to use. The new version is slightly easier to use

When you start the Hantek software all 8 channels come on !!! and to get it down Turning them off individually to a more useable 1 or 2 channels is a chore to avoid this use one of the presets that gives you 2 channels only.

We have a few threads on this that you can find by doing a search but here is one to give you a start,

Is this possible with the older version too? The newer one stopped working for me but the older is ok. To get around I saved a preset file to load but couldn't find a way to shut all of those other channels off on start up.
