Hey Guys,
Has anybody in here tried to convert a DVM (amp clamp type) to Scope amp clamp?
Reason I ask is b/c I have an older amp clamp DVM that has a blown resistance circuit.
The mfgr was unable to fix it and sent it back to me.
So instead of buying one I though of recycling this one by converting it into an amp input for the scope.
Any input is apprecaited...
Off hand I would say no,
The amp clamp side of the meter will output to voltmeter circuit. The problem is DMM work on 10 m ohms but scope inputs have 1 m ohm input resistance
