been watching lots of Paul's Videos using verus for compression testing and other things what i need to know is low amp probes what is a nice one that won't break the bank the snap on a and d's are close to 200 and seen a aes wave for 99 so any advantages of the snap on over other brands also what is best to use to find misfires with my scope Ive searched the forums figuring be 100 post but found none thanks for help and advice ahead of time

The one from aeswave is excellent. I like that you can customize the lead to what color and connector you want.

Now , if they would just make one with auto shutoff. Otherwise, just stock up on 9v batteries. Lol

The Snap-On and the AES Wave and also the Pico and Sealey are rebranded good quality generic amp clamps .With AES Wave you are assured of good service.
In contrast stay away from the Hantek clamps ther are not the best quality.

what do you mean customize it ? as of right now i can get the aeswave for 100 bucks plus they charge tax and shipping or i can get a 308a on ebay for 135 or a 308d on ebay for 150 plus 15 shipping but if no gain by speaning 65 bucks for snap on i might just get the wave

also is the a 40 amp better or worse then the d 60 amp i noticed most of Paul's and south main's videos they uses the 40 amp version

Amazon.com and get the rechargeable 9volt batteries. Finally broke down and bought a 4 pack that comes with a charger for $20-$22. Yes that's about double of the throw aways but you can get roughly 1000-1200 charges out of a rechargeable if it lasts properly. The ones I got were Li-Ion batteries
