I have access to the Snap-On Verus Pro at work with all the addons possible. My own personal use, I have the Autel DS808K. My question is, would I be alright to use the Autel MP408K since it attaches to my Autel tablet or buy the Vantage pro at more the double the cost? I asked my tool truck guy and he showed me the Vantage Pro that had 6MS/s where the Autel has 20-80MS/s depending on number of channels used. I can't really entertain the price of the nicer Pico scopes.

i have the carscope as shown in the video. its a good scope so far. you can zoom in on waveforms instead of beeing zoomed in tight then zoom out like a snap on. the leads are cheap though.

What drives the cost of the Vantage Pro is the component guided tests that are vehicle/year specific.

I checked with my snap on rep, he told me the vantage pro is now called the vantage ultra and the price i was quoted was just shy of 2800. That was more than twice what i thought the price was. Ouch.

Get a used Vantage Pro with 17.4 software on eBay for about $900. That is what I did.
