Snapon modis ultra

Hey peeps this is probably a really dumb question but I am new to lab Scopes and just got a used modis ultra. I am used to the snapon bi directional scanners, but new to the lab scope portion. Ok so when I turn the scope on it makes some clicking nosies, is this normal? Someone said that's not supposed to happen. Did I just buy a broke machine? I really would like some feedback please.

Not a dumb question! Not to worry - that happens with my Ultra, and every other one I've seen.

The Modis Edge does the same, but at a slightly faster frequency? :silly: I dunno what's happening inside. Always wanted to know, but I rely on the tool too much to risk damaging it during disassembly. :blush:

Relays clicking, vantage pro does the same. Normal operation.
