Anyone out there ever measure capacitive dishcharge ignitions on 2 cycle or outboard marine engines with an oscilloscope? I heard there is an adapter called a "direct voltage adapter" that converts the AC signal to a DC signal.

The adapter is used  with a DVOM, Using a scope you would not need it.
An expert is someone who knows each time more on each time less, until he finally knows absolutely everything about absolutely nothing.
