I guys I am new to the forum ,first post here long time being a student from mr Paul.
I want to share this case of a 2009 Pontiac vibe 2.4l(Toyota(2AZ-FE) ) engine.
customer concern DTC p0335 ckp circuit malfuntioning, when scoping the CKP sensor signal during the DTC was executed by ecm the signal on the scope looks good.

take a look at the waveform when the fault was set

I would take a close look at the Green channel's tone wheel and sensor. Something is, definitely, wrong. Each pulse should have the same amplitude, if the engine speed and sensor air gap remain constant. I would make sure that the sensor is mounted firmly and that there is no wobble in the tone ring.

I just saw the video on DN last night, nice work! That's some substantial damage! I have lifted engines by the camshafts and not seen that. Will they replace the cylinder head?

They are in trouble now because the engine warranty expires, I do not know what is going to be the next step for the shop
