It is absolutely incredible the amount of data that can be extracted from a Cranking Tailpipe and an In-cylinder waveform, coupled with a labscope!!!
This is a known good 5.3l L83 with AFM.
I'm sure I would have struggled annotating this without the in cylinder waveform.
I should mention the Exhaust is cranking, but the running in-cylinder has been over-layed and scaled to the 720 cursors to help further aid in valve event identification.
A little help from Microsoft Paint and a piston overlay chart from the Driveability Guys and here it is.
There is so much happening in an Exhaust Cranking capture due to valve overlap and the exhaust stream being exposed to the intake manifold.
