Guys,
Pretty new here and not sure if this an allowable post. I have a Snap-on Verus 323 and I'm in need of a battery pack for it. Anyone have a line on one? or know where i can get one?

Nothing on eBay right now, found a company that can rebuild it for $129, has to be sent into them though, I cringe at the thought of sending in the only pack I can find to someone I don't know...lol might have to go that route

Did some digging and found a site that has the SM204 packs for the older Verus 323, going to pick one up and see how it does

Try this before you spend any money on a new one.

If that doesn't work I'd be real tempted to tear into the old battery myself before buying a new one......

We have Batteries Plus, don't know if that's just a regional thing around my neck of the woods...

Unfortunately this pack wont even accept a charge, I let it sit over night on the charger and nothing, I just bought the scanner (cheap) but the seller failed to mention the pack was DOA

I did some digging around on the batteries plus site and they didn't have this pack. Its some sort of specialty pack for medical devices

I recently bought an old Vantage Pro with a dead battery.
I put it on my trickle charger while I was working all day and brought it back to life. I'm sure it's not been made whole again, but it has enough life to be useful with out dragging the charging cord around behind it.

On equipment with severe battery problems I like to use one of these small jump start kits to keep them powered. Easy to attach, they allow for different voltages, are lightweighted and come with a variety of connectors. Years a ago I got a kit from AES wave, probably called the U-start? Not sure if it's still available but you'll find similar ones for 100$ on the typical platforms.

As a heads up, the battery pack I got from Batteryship.com works perfect. Just pull the mount deal off the old pack (two sided tape) and the new pack (item# 1420-0868) drops in. The scanner recognizes it and all is good. Pack came 80% charged according to the scanner, I have it on the charger now and the green battery light on the scanner is lit up. Going to check it in a few hours and make sure the percentage increases but looks like it good to go.
