Hello all-

How do I test my coils the correct way? I've got a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500. I've heard people say with a test light, but I thought it was done with a DMM?

Thanks,
MrMike

There are quite a few methods, some high tech, some not so reliable.
This is my preferred tool for testing ignition coils.
It's simple and it works to stress the coils and expose a weak or borderline coil that may be failing under a load.
