Wich scan tool will do bi directional and send commands

I have a 08 cadillac cts and other gm vehicles I have an autel and other basic scanners but I want to be able to control all evap and vent valve solenoids I watch the scanner danner videos it looks like go me you are using a pc base program can someone recommend a good pc software and also the obd plug that's plugs in to the car for it thanks.

Paul mostly uses a Snap-on scan tool. The tool does run a Windows OS but the software won't run on a PC.

Only PC based aftermarket scan tool software I'm aware of is Autoenginuity. It'll run you about $500 for the VCI plus GM enhanced software. The GM factory software is also PC based but is gonna be considerably more expensive.
