OBD2 personality key adapter for Modis EEMS300 was created by Nguyen
Hello all, I am new user and a newbie to higher grade diagnostic too. Please be gentle to me if my question is already answered or it's not so good of a question. I bought a used Modis that didn't have any accessory. So I am buying an personality key adapter for it.
According to the Snap-on site, www1.snapon.com/display/1068/Upgrade-162/MODISAccessories.pdf , the official adapter is EAA0355L46C. Here's a picture of it:
The adapter cable is short, so I suppose the main cable will extend it, and the part number is EAX0066L50A:
My question is this, would the MT2500-46B adapter together with the main cable work with the Modis, and how well does it work comparing to the EAA0355L46C?
I am sure most people here would know this newbie question. Thank you in advance!

I would like to update the post that after trying both adapters out, both appears to work equally on a car I was testing out. I was able to read all the codes, and performed crankshaft sensor relearn procedure on both.

Very good, I'm happy it worked for you! It had been a very long time since I used a tool with the personality keys so I was unable to answer your question.

Both cables are the same work with no major difference from those adaptors. You don't face the problem if you use this EAA0355L46C adaptor.
