5$ Pressure Pulse Sensor was created by Andy.MacFadyen
This simple home brew pressure pulse sensor won't give as clean a signal as a Senx or Autoditex but it works and costs less the 5$/£4 to build. No soldering required







A basic Piezo Microphone is a simple a metal disc between 20 and 50mm dia with a pizo crystal bonded on to it.
They are used a ot as microphones for Acoustic Guitars. Drums and other acoustic instruments.
They can be bought for very low cost from eBay or other internet sources or Radio Shack, Maplin or other electronic supply stores.

Awesome writeup! Much better design than the one I made. :lol: I packaged a RadioShack piezo pickup inside some plumbing fittings. It worked, but lost accuracy since the chamber I made was way too big. This seems like a much more straightforward design. B)
