rate of pressure rising in cooling system on revving was created by DapperZapper
Salem Boys Auto's website says "Apply pressure to the cooling system and watch the pressure gauge as you rev the engine. If the pressure rises quickly, that is a very good indication there is a combustion leak."
how fast is "quickly"? i did this test and the results are in the video below. did the pressure rise "quickly"?

I'm not familiar with this test method? But my instinct says, no, not an issue. My understanding is that while you're revving the engine, the water pump speed increases proportionally. That means more coolant pumped within a closed system, which means a change in pressure. IMO, all that test tells you is that the water pump is spinning.
Full disclosure, I've tried doing cooling system/head gasket testing with a pressure gauge installed, and I've never been happy with the results. Actually got burned last year using that method on a Chevy G Van. Now I know better.
Are you diagnosing an overheating concern? Or just experimenting with different testing methods?

I haven't checked out the link you posted just yet, but if the pressure had risen and stayed high, or continued to climb then I think you could possibly be onto something.
Like Tyler said, the increase you captured on the rev was just an indication of the water pump moving coolant.

Like others said it seems like its just your w/p moving fluid, I'm assuming what I'll say goes for most cars but in my experience I'll see a hose like the upper rad hose almost immediately inflate or I'll crack the expansion tank cap, tighten, start the car and immediately have pressure in the cooling system. That's always been a clear indication to me something bad is going.

A bit like voltage drop across a resistor.
Increase RPM on any engine and the coolant is pumped faster so the coolant flow rate increases and has to cram through the restriction of the radiator so pressure drop across the radiator increases.
A choked radiator or coolant that has too high a concentration of anti-freeze will make the pressure differential across the radiator increase as will using Waterless. Waterless coolant is essentially 99% glycol. antifreeze concentrate,
