does anyone know if there is a significant advantage to insulated bnc connectors vs. metal? are they completely interchangeable with metal when hooking to scopes or other leads? thanks.
No advantage for car and other work -- of course if you are careless working on power mains ........
There are apparently some minor variations in the standard dimension for BNC in different parts of the world but I have never found it an issue
