I bought a fluke i410 clamp on amp probe for my fluke dmm years ago. Recently purchased a snap on verus edge. I assume that I can use it for doing cranking relative compression testing just have to adjust my scales. Am I correct? Thank you. I want to buy a low amp probe for doing small current measurements better resolution. The i410 fluke does up to 400 amps ac/dc unless it would also work for low current traces unsure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does it have a mv/a label on it? You should be able to use it

Thanks Cheryl for reply. I am going to try out tomorrow. Says 1mv per Amp.

You’ll probably have to use it on a voltage scale in your versus. Try 500mv for a relative compression test. Should be good up to 500 amp scale or try a 1 volt scale see how it looks
