chrysler j2534 programming was created by Ben
I had a chrysler vehicle today I was going to attempt an update on (they put a used pcm in) and when I accessed chryslers new stellantis page it said to perform aftermarket j2534 it would require a tech authority subcription,  a wiTech subscription, and the software purchase ? the used pcm could not control the ASD relay so the customer opted out of programming as this pcm was likely defective . anyone still programming chryslers with all the cost of entry to do it?? it looks like it would rack over $100 for the 3 day subscriptions and the software purchase which is twice as much as GM programming license....

Only when, absolutely, necessary.  Chrysler needs the money, more than their customers do. The only thing you can do, is pass the subscription expenses on to the customer, plus a fee for your time.  I am, always, sure to let the customer know that Chrysler charges more than any other manufacturer for programming.

Keep in mind TIS2WEB is ending this month. As of now it appears you will purchase Techline Connect at $3,864 a year....
