I have what looks like an air mass meter on an Opel Astra H 2005 but it only has 2 wires and I can't find an air mass meter on a wiring diagram.
I using a new Autel MX 808 and I have a pid for air mass sensor and its response to throttle movement.
Can you have a false PID reading on a scan tool because I think the sensor is not an Air Mass sensor it is an air temp sensor?
Any thought on that

Sounds like a calculated value.
It's not completely unheard of to have a live mass air flow data pid and not have a mass air flow sensor.
The PCM is probably comparing the MAP, TPS, IAT and probably some other sensor information to infer a mass air flow value.
