Hi guys,Richard from n. Ireland here! I've been working with the modis ultra for the last three years and with Paul's help I have really enjoyed using the features of the tool,now my tool rep has offered me a deal on the verus edge,what's your thoughts?is the verus a worthy upgrade?
Hey Richard! Definitely a worthy upgrade, IMO. I got to play with one on the Snap-On truck about a year ago, very nice tool overall.
I've got a Modis Ultra as well, and there's been a few times I really wished I had a Verus. Swapping back and forth from scanner to scope, as well as using both at the same time, is a big advantage in some cases.
On the downside, it ain't cheap. :lol: Plus, if something were to happen to it (dropped, spilled fluids, whatever)... Ouch. This is why I've kept my Modis for awhile, 'cause it breaking isn't catastrophic.
