Fitting to adapt shop air to r134 for leak testing was created by dhodges
I was watching the video on testing an empty ac system with shop air before you fill it with refrigerant and while I wouldn't use this often I think it is a great way to move forward in determining system condition in certain situations. I have extra R134 hoses that go to an old set of gauges and I would like to adapt a tire schrader valve to the yellow hose for putting air into the system. Does anyone have a good way to do this?
Thanks

You can buy schrader to male NPT air tank valves. Then adapt that to connect to the hose. If it's a spare hose cutting the hose and using a hose barb is probably easier than sourcing a NPT to hose fitting adapter.
