Our shop has a Solus Pro, but no battery or charger. I hacked an old laptop battery into the Solus Pro along with a non Snappy AC Adapter a short while back solely to perform a backup to a CF Flash Card. I don't care if the battery has dead cells or no cells at all, it's gonna get a rebuild if it finds its way to my work bench. I wouldn't turn down a genuine Snappy charger if the price is right.. Since I'm a pro at voiding warranties, I can't justify over $200 to fix a minor annoyance when a loss of power occurs at the OBDII plug during cranking with some vehicles.
Maybe I'll just do the battery and charger hack tutorial anyways -- if there's a demand for it. Let me know what you got and how much you want for it. Thanks!
