Hey guys. I just bought an Autel MS906TS and need help figuring out how to navigate the tool...

2004 Chevy Silverado 5.3. My current ECU needs to be changed & swapped with a junkyard ECU from another vehicle. I got the truck running on the replacement used ECU previous but swapped the original back in in the mean time. Does GM require a jbox to replace a vin or can I do it with my tool?

Not possible to change the VIN with a scanner only. You'll need a J2534 and a subscription to GM website or AC-delco.
