snap on vs autel was created by xxl
Been looking around at a snap on Apollo or verus. I need obd 1 that was my reasoning for going snap on. I didnt think autel would cover obd 1. Then i ran across this the MS906BT they include obd1 adapter dose this mean i ll be able to use a 906 on my 1991 chevy c 1500. For those who have used both systems how dose the autel compare with snap on. Not brand loyal to either. Thanks

My Launch came with a bunch of obd1 adapters MB, BMW, Chrysler, I don't remember the others since I don't use them at all.

Mine did too but in the video Ivan tested on a 92 Olds and he couldn't get it to work. The Launch BMW, MB, VW and Toyota adaptors will probably work.

Interesting. Well, I remember having to use the round BMW adapter on a 99 540 once and the pins were not right on two different adapters. The launch one did work there though.

Istr BMW used a different number of active pins on different years and model.
Their radio sockets also have missing pins on some models.
