What laptop are y'all runnin?

I need a laptop and looking for suggestions and specs for a laptop. Something durable for field work as well has handle automotive business needs.

I haven't touched a laptop at the shop since I bought my Verus Edge

I run a couple of Panasonic Toughbooks CF-30 and a CF-31 for diagnostic software. The older CF-30 have been fine running all the newest versions of OE software (lots of HD stuff). I also have an ASUS tablet for my Pico scope, when a smaller more portable unit is needed.

I have a Dell P25T. It's really not a great laptop. :silly:

Small enough that I can take it underhood with me. Cheap enough that I can smash it and not feel horrible. Works well enough with the apps I need (ShopStream, VCDS, FORScan, Pico.) But, the battery life is terrible, and the laptop-to-tablet function is extremely buggy.

Overall, it does it's job just well enough to prevent replacing it. :lol: Next one is gonna be a refurb Toughbook.
