Hi everybody,

I have a snap on verus edge with the obd1 adapters does anyone have an application guide for them. I'm about to use it for a check engine light on a 1995 ford ranger. My kit has a ford 4 and a ford 1b. I have never used them before and I'm guessing I need to use the ford 4 for my application. Do they require seperate power and grounds ?

Thanks for any info
Josh

The Verus will tell you which connector to use when you enter Year, Make, and Model. I don't think you will need an additional power source on this vehicle, but If the connector has a port for external power, be prepared to use it.

You will need Adapter DA-5.

Update, after the truck came in and I had a chance to look at it, the truck had an obd2 port I guess being a 06/95 build date they were ramping up for obd2

Thanks again
