Frequency test gm MAF was created by Toolman10000
I’m trying to get a reading off of a MAF on a 2006 Chevy Silverado. I’ve tried sensor ground and battery ground. Sensor ground is a little cleaner. I can’t get a nice smooth reading. All the way through it I have these spikes that spike well above 50 kHz. I’m not sure what’s going on. Am I picking up interference ? I get the same thing on my 6.7 ram.

Scan data is normal. Can only get 7000hz on a snap throttle. Code P0101 comes up intermittently.

i think i see your problem. It looks like you have peak detect on. when i first did this test i had peak detect turned on and experienced the same issue. im pretty sure this when doing this test peak detect should be off. maybe some of the more experienced scope users can chime in.

did you try a shorter time base? 10 seconds might be a bit long to capture the detail you're looking for
