Just curious if this place has any type of classifieds section for scan tools. Getting rid of my Snap On Verus with Lab Scope...

So this weekend I found out I'm going to have another kid. So I need to get a down payment for. New larger vehicle.
Up for sale is my Snap-on Verus scanner. It has a 4 channel Lab Scope built in. It has the European, Domestic, Asian and Harley Davidson packages. I believe it has 17.2 or 17.3 software on it(i can check) updated to 2017. Never found a car it wouldn't scan. It was a very expensive scanner new. Asking $2150+ shipping.
Just figured id gauge the interest over here.

Not trying to cause issues but these scanners can be had on ebay for less. but i guess its best to start high and work your way down.

No problem... not trying to get one over on anyone or charge too much... what would you suggest for a price?

I would keep your asking price just realize you probably won't get it but hey you never know.

I ask because there IS one on there of this model for about $1500 shipped, but it's not updated(15.2) as far as this one(17.2) is and no mention of any other platforms. There is one for $2100 also only updated to 15.4. (That 17.2 update was a grand alone if i remember correctly) 17.2 was the first time they offered Harley Davidson and it scans tons of them, the 15.2 and 15.4 won't do that. Neither come with the case like this one does. And the 17.2 will program ABS and such on BMWs..

Yeah the update was expensive. I updated my verus last year to 17.2 it only cost me 500 from my dealer. If I were to sell my verus I would ask for 2k because that's what I have in it.

I think, he is asking a fair price. Most things on Ebay are still in the bidding stage. Bids always jump up at the end of an auction. The only ones I see go for much less than $2000 have much older software. Just my two cents.

You're welcome. It's easy overlook the value of the software, installed. A Verus costs about $1250 to update.
