Relative Compression and First Look Sensor was created by Chad
Misfire Cylinder #2
Yellow Trace is an Amp Clamp around the Battery Cable. Red Trace is a Secondary Ignition Probe on the #2 plug wire. Green Trace is a First Look Sensor on the Oil Dipstick Tube.

Maybe. This car came in for a Transmission. :dry: I decided to check out the misfire, first.

Oh my. :ohmy: Very nice find. This is definitely the kind of thing you need to know about BEFORE doing repairs.

Just out of curiosity, what made you want to check the dipstick tube with the first look? Or did you perform the relative first then added the first look after seeing the loss of compression?

Clear Flood mode (accelerator peddle to the floor, then crank, disables fuel). On a long crank, I could HEAR a rhythmic pattern. Cranking should me a smooth consistent sound. Once I HEARD it, I went to the Relative Compression test. Then, added in the FLS.
