Anyone have a recommendation for a good chassis ears (wired or wireless) I have the steelman wired chassis ears and it sucks... a Mic dies every time i use it and the control box has way to much variance in volume between channels for example channel 6 is twice as loud as any other channels and the rest are all around 20% different from each other....

It's such a handy tool that I don't want to do without 1 I just hate this 1....

So any recommendations?

I've had awful experiences with Steelman products as well. My 6 channel wired kit, the control box completely died the third time I used it. Steelman won't warranty. I decided to give their wireless kit a chance, and the microphones don't work with Samsung Bluetooth. $400 worth of 2 kits and neither of them work. I'd love to know about anothet option.

The cheap Chinese clone ones have exactly the same issues, the microphones need to be subject to much stricter quality control.
I usually reach for my Gunson single channel electronic stethoscope.
