Which LED test light? was created by Jayband
From what i understand the filament test light is the otc 3633 that danner likes to use, does anybody have the led part number for one that is mostly used and safe to check pcm drivers?
I do have the power probe that i can put into driver test mode but i want something less bulky

I have a less than 20 ma LED test light listed on my Amazon affiliate page for around $10 and is all you need. LED test lights are garbage in most applications

I'll use this one when I want to trigger a coil with a built in transistor and maybe for stepper motor circuits (because they are such low amperage) but everything else gets my red bulb incandescent

A few years ago I bought a fancy LED test light that tells you the polarity of what you are connected to red or green. -- but I haven't used it once.
Apart from a tungsten test light what I do use quite often for 12v power and also 5v reference is one of these which I picked up in an ALDI supermarket for about £4
