Is anyone here familiar with the blue driver diagnostic tool? I ordered one that has not arrived yet. I was wondering if anyone knows if it is capable of reading the CMP retard to set the distributor in the vortec engines. I did the intake gaskets on a 96 Suburban with the 5.7 and was wanting to fine tune the timing. Thanks for any help.

I don't own a BlueDriver, but according to their website, yes?

I know there are other members around here that have one, hopefully one of them will chime in. :cheer:

I know under the live data screen on the BlueDriver app, it has an option for “spark timing #1 piston tdc”. I haven’t received my Bluetooth tool yet to test it. I’m not sure if this option would be considered the cam retard on the vortecs? I know most scanners actually call it “cam retard” thanks for the help guys.
