This is more of a joke than an actual technique. I was recording my 2017 Kia Forte5 cranking for a promo video and saw the audio and chuckled a bit. Though the "humps" are between compression strokes. Figured I'd share


Confirm what it's not, and fix what it is!

Ruh roh, this doesn't look good. :unsure: Jumped timing? Carboned intake valves? More testing is definitely required.

Kidding! :silly: This is actually pretty cool. I'm now curious how a weak cylinder would 'look' on an audio trace.
