Hello, I watched a case study on a 1.7 civic where the timing belt was fitted incorrectly. The scope data was a little off in terms of tdc/spark timing due to the engine running for a couple of seconds where other factors may have come into play! Paul stated that it's better to see that result on a scope capture with a cranking engine and non start. My question is...if I had this same car on my ramp in the shop would I be better removing the fuel pump fuse so I can see the data with a non start engine? Thanks in advance.
