I've been using a scope for quite a while but I've never used advanced triggers. I'm in the demo mode and trying to mess around with the advanced triggers but I can't seem to get anything to trigger on the waveform. I've tried pulse width, window, interval etc but can't seem to get it to work. Can anyone help out or point me in the right direction?

The included manual in the software makes sense it's just that the triggers simply aren't working. Thanks.

I'm using the Picoscope 6 automotive software and a 4425 scope.

I brought my signal generator home so I could do some experimenting. Got it all figured out. Thanks. I had always been able to use a simple trigger but I wanted to be able to utilize as much of the tool as I could. What I'm looking forward to the most is using logic triggers. With logic triggers I can monitor all wires on a sensor, for example, and if any of those values, power, ground or signal drop out, the scope will trigger and stop the waveform. Really awesome.

On a side note, Pico really needs to provide an in depth tutorial on triggers. Not just an overview. I mean, really spend some time on each one. Wasn't very intuitive.

There's this new channel on YouTube. Got the link from Keith (New level auto). It's called JM Diagnostics. If you like Pico should check it out.

One application I can see is capturing self-test pulse to the wheel sensors when Bosch active ABS wakes up.
