Drawings and Test Equipment was created by mustafaamustafa
Dear Sir
I am glad to contact you Paul and wish your school in Rosedale all success. I will not ask you any auto electric problem issues but to only guide me to the following:
1- Where and how I can get a complete soft copy drawings of all types and models of cars that I will use in my future workshop here in Canada
2- Advise me of which Scan tool I start with that helps in troubleshooting, provide on/off commands to car's components and shows wave forms (oscilliscope function included).
3- Shall I use Google search to get cars' components locations, wiring diagrams, etc. for all cars.
If yes, would you please advise some names of websites that provide these wiring diagrams.

Thanks

www.shopkeypro.com/
www.alldata.com/

I prefer Shopkeypro. I believe, both offer a week long free trial.

We've got a pretty good list of resources going in our repair info thread, check it out. ;-)

They're no substitute for a genuine repair info service, like pole71 suggested, but still valuable.

A good used Modis would definitely tick all your boxes for a scan tool with bidirectional capabilities and a scope. You might also consider separating the scanner and scope, as several members around here have done. This allows for a much greater selection of scanners, AND makes testing easier when you need to use both at the same time.
