I have an old modis scanner. i saw paul using the uscope to test secondary ignition. i wanted to know if i can do it with my modis?

Yep, your old Modis can do that easily! You'll just need some kind of secondary ignition adapter. There's several good options, depending on how much you want to spend. Something like the
AESwave Universal Secondary Test Lead
set will work well on many different ignition designs. I used that kit for several years before getting a
Pico TA204
.
Both will hook up to your Modis with banana jacks, and both can be used on a standard voltage trace with a trigger. The signal generated by the probes is anywhere from 0-10V depending on the ignition design, so you'll have to fine tune your scope setup every time you hook up to get the best picture.
I usually start with a 10ms screen and a 5V scale.
Snap-On also produced a HUGE range of ignition adapters for the Modis and Vantage. Coil-in-cap, specialized COP adapters, secondary flags, all kinds of stuff. Have a look at the Snap-On site to get an idea of what's out there.

Primary reflects secondary so an alternative would be view primary with the current ramp overlaid.
