Battery test using OBDII Bluetooth adaptor was created by Andy.MacFadyen
You can get a pretty good view of a battery's condition doing a cranking voltage test on a cold engine using a cheap eBay Chinese "ELM327" Bluetooth or USB OBD2 adaptor and Torque Pro, OBD Car Doctor Pro or similar graphing OBD2 app.
