As the title says, for those that have breakout boxes:
1. what one do you have:
2. What are it's pros:
3. What are it's cons:
4. if you had it to do over, or needed to replace it what would you get (it again or something else)?
Been needing to get one for a while now and thought I'd ask here before I make any choices.

I think the go-to BOB in this neck of the woods is GoDiag

Supposing you're talking OBD2/SAE J1962 here.:
It depends on what you want to do.
The Go diag is great for bench work as you can power up and connect directly to specific pins on a controller for example.
If you just wanted to scope some signals any bob with 4mm banana plugs will do so. Some models don't feature dedicated LED's for each terminal. These will give you a quick visual and come in handy.
Built quality some times is an issue with too cheap chinesium.

GoDiag for me. GT100 or the GT100+. I've got a couple examples of the GT100+ in action:
www.scannerdanner.com/forum/diagnostic-t...est-drive.html#51401
www.scannerdanner.com/forum/diagnostic-t...h-forscan.html#57408
Pros:
Widely available for a great price.
Functional as a BOB and as a bench tester, like Juergen said.
Durable enough for shop use.
Works great as a memory saver during battery replacement.
Cons:
Wish the current meter worked during battery replacement. Might be useful for battery draw testing.
Internal fuse could use a higher rating, IMO. 5 or 7.5A would be nice for some situations.
Bench test pins are starting to spread after a few years. Not really a con, just a function of frequent use. Replacement bench test harnesses are sold separately if you need one.
Wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

I have several. My favorite is the new Power Probe.
