Verus pro d10 software issues was created by dawson.wood
Hey all. I bought a verus pro d10 with the oscilloscope, but it seems to be corrupt in some way. It seems to be missing essential files. How can I go about fixing the software and having the tool usable again? Otherwise, can I put windows 7-8 on it, and download a third party software that can at least regain scope functionality and, maybe, some obd functionality? I am opening my own garage and really can't afford a new diag tool/scope on top of this, after getting ripped off. It says copyright 2021 when it trys to launch the program, and the guy claimed it was updated as such. "Error code 1601 stop code not 0" if you try to reinstall diag suite. It says failed to authenticate when logging in. Customer support said they won't help because it's old, and the tool truck I was on said he wasn't sure what to do because he had never seen one before. I really appreciate any help, I apologize for the poor format.

Unfortunately, when Snap On is done with a tool, they are done with the tool.
I don't know of any 3rd party software that can restore the functionality of your scanner/scope.

Is there a way that I can reflash it somehow? Would a more experienced tool truck rep have any chance of success? I'm open to any possible solutions
