I purchased a topdon phoenix smart scanner. Turned out that it doesn't support late model f150 trucks.
I'm looking now at the professional series of Launch scanners. Looking at the compatibility chart launch says no support for ford f150 older than a 2018. That can't be true.
I need advice on what scanner will cover ford f150. Years 2007, 2011, 2016, 2022.

I'm surprised TopDon let you down on the Fords. Could explain what you mean exactly by not covering late model Fords?
To be honest, output controls and automated tests don't come baked into scan tools. They often get added incrementaly as updated roll out.
I have used Snap On my entire career and seen this first hand many, many times over.
