How to update or use CF cards?

I purchased a Modis EEMS300 on ebay with build 12.2. I also purchased some CF cards on ebay which say software bundle 4.2 , 4.1 1.1, 2.0. So my question is are these CF cards even able to be used on this Modis or are these software bundles already installed on this Modis since it has a build of 12.2? Do I need to find and purchase a software bundle with a number higher than 12.2 to get more production years on vehicles.?

The 4.2 , 4.1 1.1, and 2.0 CF cards have no value, other than re-formatting and using them as storage cards. 12.2 supersedes them.

As for updating to the last available update, for that scanner, I called my representative. He said that that scanner can no longer be updated...period (at least not through Snap-on).







 

Thank you Chad. Maybe you can help me with this question. Do you know the differences between mt2400 vantage memory card 2.0 and the 2.1 ?
