Thank You Very Much! Just Double checking everything. That plastic ring that holds the assembly in place is the most cussworthy item :(

Thanks Ben for the offer
turns out I do need another section. Same XB now has a P0717 and its only getting 0.80-0.86v with key on and with engine running. So power has to come from somewhere ! And I have no idea how to word it, transmission wiring diagram?
TIA,
Michael

I dont know that .8 is bad this appears to only be a 2 wire sensor so it probably rides on a Bias voltage, a lab scope is preffered to diagnose this but it's likely just a bad speed sensor.

No labscope, but sensor was swaped and got worse. Re installed original and went from intermittant to full time issues. So bias voltage has to come from somewhere and it appears to come from ecu? No relay ? FK! , i just got fuel issues sorted and mtr mts and its been running great.

Found out sensor ohm is 540-680 so 600+/- 10% will check continuity when we dip into the 90°s :)...
